19TH TRADITIONAL CIRCUMCISION FESTIVAL HELD

On Sunday, August 31, Özdilek hosted its 19th Traditional Circumcision Festival at Özdilek Holding.

The event welcomed Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor Ramazan Solmaz, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Yücel Akbulut, Bursa Osmangazi Municipality Deputy Mayor Burak İleri, Bursa Nilüfer Mayor Şadi Özdemir, Chairman and CEO Emir Murat Özdilek, senior management, employees, and their families.

The program began with the recitation of the Mevlid-i Şerîf, followed by official speeches. In his address, Chairman Emir Murat Özdilek reflected on the significance of the day, saying: "My message to our children and young people is to become individuals who contribute to society, who work, study, research, and as visionary global citizens, bring value to our country. May God protect them and keep their paths clear."

The festival was full of joy, featuring Sütfest ice cream, Özdilek Lokum, popcorn, cotton candy, and macun, along with performances by a mehter band and sword-and-shield dancers, a gift-giving ceremony, toy distribution, and a stage performance by theater artist Cengiz Oba. It was a meaningful day where we shared the happiness of our children and their families.

Since 1992, we have organized collective circumcision events for the children of our employees; this year, 137 children joined the tradition, bringing the total number of participants over the years to 2,672.
